Mine Na Poem

Mac and Moir

In crown of stupa,
The sugilite jewels birth the Violet flame
Fresco half-moon-wise
the excavated
Blue lotus, bud-eyed boy of two
Rises to
Hear his mother’s universal voice in the wind
Running barefooted on the damp grass
Between the golden yews and pass
spires of irish bells
Meets her at the garden gate
To nestle his face in the warm depression of her shoulder
In intervals
She swings him high, then
She anchors him back to her eyes
And wraps his anam in the seventh ray
Holding back the night, to bless his lifestreams
Until memories retreat into the void

  1. This is just genius on display. So strong and vivid, and well crafted. ‘anchors him back to her eyes’ i would love to know what inspired that, i feel it was a personal moment in time. Sparks of brilliance…that usual roar into your creative flame.
    Excellent piece!

    • I’m so grateful that you love it so! I’ve been trying to remember my past lives. Their is an exercise or meditation that I’ve tried before and got flashes of images and feelings of being there. This is one I’m beginning to remember. Parts really are vivid and then they blur. I’ll share in the email fully. I might ramble so you might receive it the next day. Sorry part of my nature…I’m sure you know that now.
