Habit

Petrified in rust from stardust,
Iโ€™m intaglioed, out of the cabochon sky
A twofold reflection โ€” faces schilling, through the atomic lattice
In Irish irises, I’m settling anew

  1. Welcome back.
I had to look up ‘cabochon’ and loved the meaning, and it’s placement in your piece. Everything fits so well, and seems to be dripping with embryonic strength. Very visual and colourful in a way.
Hope this is the birth of a new era!

    • Thank you…it felt good to write something…going to try for more. At least once a month. It really helps me to decompress a lot of emotions I bottle up.
I love that word and how it rolls off your tongue. Iโ€™ve been inspired by how everything traces back to rocks from space. And how we shape objects as maybe God shaped us. Also, Iโ€™m speaking to someone in particular, they bring about renewal in my life. Which is wonderfully positive.
Need to visit all your beautiful words soon.
