Color, Death, love, Relationship

I remember the rain

In the ashen light, venus’s hazel glow ring,
Peeks out tonight
Near the White Cliffs of Dover, boney traces of Wollastonite
Again on the edge,
I grasp a clump of what is tangible
Beneath my thoughts of decay,
A sweet visage still lingers
And keeps the Bardo at bay

For all those weeks of pixelated entertainment,
The last of those hypnotic hours
I pulled you deeper into the sedative darkness
On the back of your elbows, in agony you waited
Like water droplets dripping down the Windowpane
Imprinted forever, the pleasure I gave

Resting Endearment

Confluent in my mouth,
Tonight I taste the turmeric essence of
Everything you told

That endearing echo remains
The nickname that gave
Oh “little one, little one”
Eventually must age
And
The thread frays

Like an untouchable
Covered in ashes of the thousands
From the same fire of the pyre
An atlas, we all must toil

Caution Tells

Not for the faint of the heart,
To lean into the longing
The heavy metallic dust
In the moonlit misery
I see it now,
The “Golden Girl” with
Obscure passion towards the seductive thread
Of a strayed friend

With dread,
I’m pierced into these toxic platitudes
Yet, my heart races for that final rest
Pumping red
Pulsating in my head

Have favor in me red
Even though their love will never come
Please don’t close the valves

Buddhism

Wreathed in the flames

The tear drops spiral into one
Verily, it is a craving to go on through the mind-sweep
The wish, to wish you out of the question,
And let it be

Round and round these glowing branches grows out of the tangles
And rebinds at its own accord

All along what my heart has been saying

This wreath of flames is majestic and wild
Fuses the sunder
Burns away into, magenta afterglow
That will touch your face
And doubtlessly will keep you in grace, of all those tomorrows

December’s Bridge

Am I a lie in this etched parallel?
They say what is most disliked,
Remains most true
Are words just a crease of what define’s my reality?

Wrap a hamsa around my eyes
Push the shutter
Stare into that ray of light
Behold the trident
Draw the salt lines
Round and round this dance is for the prong of my shadow

In the separation
In the alcoves, held out way too long
For both sides, a bridge is the reciprocated middle way
Share within the light, share within the darkness
I won’t be disillusioned
My soul already encompasses both

A Shading Response

After the subsiding of the color shock,
granite grey spills into my day
As liquid rock passes through these lens,
and up to mercury,
to surge the cerebellum bay

Panic flutters in my hearth of garnet consumption
Held a mudra to feel the rhythm
Within that upper mantle — a wild outcry
Some bottled up words burn brighter

You possess the flood
Let’s interrupt our patterns
For we our interdependent

Existence for now

My heart unlocks to those wet green eyes that cry.
Matted lashes mirrors the summer rain clinging to the pines.
Syd Barrett singing Golden Hair from no certain distinction ahead.
Grasping through the spruces.
Passing the rotation, fear has fallen apart.

To the Middle Way, hereafter;
Each spokes connected within the whirlwind of my lungs.
The oval window in my ear.
My belly of a thousand folded flowers.
The zenith tides in my eyes.
My voice plunging into midnight.
